Welcome to Embedded Iron
We believe software should be powerful without being complicated. Here's what we're building and why it matters.
We started Embedded Iron with a simple idea: software should get out of your way and let you work.
After decades in industrial automation — building systems with PLCs, servos, and robots — we kept seeing the same problem. Too much software is designed for the people buying it, not the people using it. It's bloated with features nobody needs, complicated to set up, and locked behind endless subscriptions.
Why "Embedded Iron"?
The name reflects how we think about building software:
- Embedded — Like embedded systems, our software runs reliably in the background. It's part of your operation, not a distraction from it.
- Iron — Built to last. No vaporware, no feature bloat, just solid tools that work every day.
Our Philosophy
We follow three principles in everything we build:
- Design for the user, not the buyer
If your employees hate using it, it's a bad tool — even if the features look great on paper. We obsess over the daily experience. - Own your data
Cloud subscriptions are great until they're not. We give you options: run on-premise, keep your data local, export anytime. No hostage situations. - Simple doesn't mean weak
You can have powerful features without a complex UI. The best software feels obvious — like it was designed by someone who actually does the job.
What We're Building
We currently have two products in the pipeline:
IronLinks — An on-premise IoT platform for factory floor monitoring. It connects your PLCs to a web dashboard without cloud subscriptions. Your data stays on your network, your server, your control.
Bizy Clock — Time tracking for small business. Built for solopreneurs, electricians, plumbers, contractors — anyone who needs to clock in fast and get back to work. Launching March 2026.
What's Next?
If you're working in industrial services, manufacturing, or the trades — this is for you. We're building the tools we wish existed.
Thanks for reading. If you have questions or want to see a demo, get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
